I this script I will show you how to grab all the VM's in your ESX Cluster/Server and print out all of it's important data into XML format.. For instance you will get the name of the VM, HostName, Disk's, Networking, if VMware tools is installed, the version of vmware tools, and a little more.

 

This script assumes you have the VMware Infrastructure (VI) Perl Toolkit Packages installed and your $HOME/.visdkrc set correctly. Without the above the script below will not work!!
