Recently I took an interest in learning OpenSolaris, and let me tell you, to me it's like learning a different language. I am still not able to get my box with simple networking... (

 I did a #$%^ load of googling and I found out how to scan the devices on OpenSolaris "/usr/X11R6/bin/scanpci -v" By doing that I found that the current driver I have loaded is not the correct driver, now to find the correct driver and load that bad boy up. I'm going to load up alot of howtos on OpenSolaris once I got a grip of the situation.

I would like to take the time to thank Zenoss for sending me this wonderful Jacket. I've been using Zenoss now for almost 2 years now and I've been trying my best to convert as many people from Nagios and the other Monitoring systems to  Zenoss. Zenoss is the first product that I have become truly attached to. Because of Zenoss I am now a Python evangelist and most of my code is programmed in Python.

It is hard when you work for a company who does not want you to share code that you have written, even though the code does not show anything about the environment I currently work in. I'm going to try and submit some updates in the next few days... I've been working with TurboGears alot lately, hopefully I can finish the one out of four projects that I have started soon and I will post them soon.

I would like to thank Zenoss for adding me to there Zenoss Master List. Because of Zenoss I learned the Python programming language and it is now my preferred language of choice. Zenoss to me is the best Open Source monitoring solution out there. I feel they beat HP Openview/Tivoli/ and the others Hands Down. I was able to integrate Zenoss with Citrix Netscalers, Custom built CMDB's and other products.
