In the next days to weeks, I will be focusing on programming to the VMware Perl SDK API as well as to libvert API for XEN... For instance yesterday I posted a VMware List Properties script of all Virtual Machines in a Cluster/Server in xml format. Just a few minutes ago I just finish updating that same script to print in standard format by default of all devices, but you can now pass it the --xml option to print them all in xml or if you just want linux devices you can just pass the --linux option or for windows Servers you can pass the --winserv option and for desktops you can pass the --windesk option. You can also pass the --hostname option and get that data as well.
I will post the script but before I do that I would like to here
people opinion first?? If this is what you guys would like to see or
would you like to see other options ??

For the people who have been checking out LinuxDynasty.... We have begun our own OpenSource project (More like a few, but lets start one at a time)!!! We will be posting updates in the days to come. One of the projects we are about to start is a front end for Kickstart and more.. We do not have the specifics yet but we are in the midst of discussion. We are going to build the gui using turbogears and python. If you are interested in helping and being a part of a OpenSource project then please join the site and private message me.
We will apply this project to sourceforge once we have a beta.. In the meantime I will start a Trac instance and only members who are part of this project will have access to this area.
